Non-Consensus Investing by Rupal J. Bhansali
This book is a good overview of the principles behind contrarian value investing.
The key as always to good value investing is valuation, in other words how do you decide what a company is really worth? This book is not a how-to guide but is more a listing of principles to follow and traps to avoid when deciding what a company is worth, and how to spot situations where a company may be unfairly valued by the market. Some common mistakes and a description of typical shortcomings in how our brains work regarding investments is also included.
The author also includes her history and advice to women who want to enter the investment world.
Overall a worthwhile read for a value investor and I recommend it.
